F7131 Functional Description
The F7131 module is designed to monitor up to three 5V power supplies with buffer batteries, offering reliable performance and efficient power management. Each power supply’s status is clearly displayed through three front-facing LEDs, allowing for easy monitoring and quick diagnostics. Additionally, the F7131 provides three test bits for diagnostic displays and user programs, facilitating detailed analysis and system maintenance.
The F7131 draws 5VDC at 25mA, ensuring low power consumption while offering robust functionality. It also features three output connections for monitoring additional 24V power supplies, making it adaptable to a variety of industrial systems. With a compact 4 SU space requirement, the F7131 module can be easily integrated into existing setups, saving valuable space in control panels.
The buffer batteries in the F7131 module have a long lifespan, lasting up to 1000 days at 25°C or 200 days at 60°C. After approximately six years of unloaded use, the batteries will need to be replaced, ensuring continued reliability and performance. The F7131 module is an essential component for efficient power monitoring and system diagnostics, making it a trusted choice for industrial applications.
The module F7131 monitors the system voltage 5 V generated by the 3
power supplies max. as follows:
– 3 LED-displays at the front of the module
– 3 test bits for the central modules F8650 or F8651 for the diagnostic
display and for the operation within the user's program
– For the using within the additional power supply (assembly kit B 9361)
the function of the power supply modules in it could be monitored via 3
outputs of 24 V (PS1 to PS 3)

H41q/H51q Safety Systems Introduction
For more than 20 years the HIMA Safety Controller HIQuad H41q/H51q has been a reliable product for many applications within the process industry. But each product life cycle makes it necessary to switch to the best available technology at the appropriate time.
That’s why the central components of the H41q and H51q are in the passive phase since 1st April 2020. Affected are the central racks including the central, communication, power supply and coupling modules as well as the corresponding accessories.
The HIQuad I/O modules including field wiring remain unchanged within modernized and function compatible HIQuad X systems.
For passive products, HIMA aims to keep spare parts in stock and provide repair support for at least ten years. Component-related, legal, or normative restrictions may apply. Products entering the passive phase may have limited delivery availability and will not receive further updates with new features or certificates.
