MVI69-DFNT Functional Description
The MVI69-DFNT EtherNet/IP™ Client/server Communication Module enables seamless communication between CompactLogix™ and MicroLogix™ 1500 LRP processors and EtherNet/IP compatible devices. These devices include PLCs, PACs, field devices, and host HMI systems, all of which support the EtherNet/IP protocol.
The the MVI69-DFNT EtherNet/IP™ Client/server Communication Module can send both read and write commands to remote devices on the EtherNet/IP network, enhancing flexibility in data exchange. In addition, it features 20 built-in servers that allow it to receive commands from remote devices. Users can configure up to 100 individual commands for tailored communication.
Designed with versatility in mind, the MVI69-DFNT EtherNet/IP™ Client/server Communication Module also supports the use of a dedicated Ethernet port, ideal for applications requiring a separate network. With this module, users gain a reliable and efficient means of connecting their CompactLogix™ or MicroLogix™ 1500 processors to a wide range of EtherNet/IP-enabled devices.
