IC698CPE010 Functional Description
The IC698CPE010 is a high-performance Central Processing Unit (CPU) module that is part of Emerson's PACSystem RX7i platform, designed to manage large, complex automation applications. This IC698CPE010 Central Processing Unit (CPU) module features an Intel Celeron 300 MHz microprocessor, providing fast Boolean execution with 0.33 ms per 1,000 Boolean contacts/coils. It supports up to 512 program blocks, each with a maximum size of 128 KB, and has 10 MB of battery-backed RAM and 10 MB of non-volatile memory for data storage.
The IC698CPE010 Central Processing Unit (CPU) module is capable of handling a large I/O capacity, supporting up to 32Kbits for discrete (%I) and (%Q), as well as 32K words for analog (%AI) and (%AQ) data. It also supports floating-point operations and features multiple communication interfaces, including RS-232, RS-485, and dual Ethernet ports. The Ethernet interfaces allow for high-speed data exchange, supporting protocols like EGD, SRTP, MODBUS TCP, and more. Rack-based and RX7i Embedded Interfaces - Features
The RX3i CPE302/CPE305/CPE310/CPE330/CPE400/CPL410 and RSTi-EP CPE100/CPE115 embedded Ethernet interface supports a subset of these features. For a list of RX3i CPE302/CPE305/CPE310 embedded Ethernet interface features, refer to Section 1.3.2.
