IC698PSA350 Functional Description
The IC698PSA350 is a high-capacity power supply module designed for the PACSystem RX7i controller series, manufactured by GE Fanuc. This module provides essential backplane power, enabling other modules to activate their internal circuits. The IC698PSA350 high-capacity power supply module is installed in slot 0 of the RX7i rack, occupying a single slot. It operates with an input supply voltage ranging from 85 to 264 VAC and 100-150 VDC, with an AC input frequency of 47-63 Hz. Its nominal voltage is 120/240 VAC and 125 VDC, with a typical power requirement of 440 watts and a maximum of 500 watts.
Equipped with a 0.99 power factor for AC input, the IC698PSA350 high-capacity power supply module features various LED status indicators to display its operational status, including Field OK, OUTPUT OK, and OVER TEMP. Protection features such as overtemperature, overvoltage, and airflow protection ensure safe operation. The module includes a 70 CFM forced air cooling fan to maintain temperature regulation. If airflow stops, the OVER TEMP LED will activate. The module is available in Series A and Series B versions, with different internal fuses: Series A uses 0.25” x 1.25” fuses, while Series B is equipped with 5 x 20 m fuses.
The IC698PSA350 high-capacity power supply module has a power output rating of 350 watts and operates at a frequency range of 47 to 63 Hz, with an operating temperature range of 0 to 60°C. Its hold-up time is 5 milliseconds, and it offers a ride-through of 15 milliseconds. For installation, the power supply requires proper grounding and the input terminal can accommodate solid or stranded wire. The module ensures high reliability with an isolation rating of 1500 Volts DC for all outputs, making it a key component of the RX7i series system.

Rack-based and RX7i Embedded Interfaces - Features
The RX3i CPE302/CPE305/CPE310/CPE330/CPE400/CPL410 and RSTi-EP CPE100/CPE115 embedded Ethernet interface supports a subset of these features. ▪ Internet access via web pages served up to standard web browsers, for the Ethernet interface embedded in the PACSystems RX7i CPU.
