IC693MDL645 Functional Description

The module features a single group of 16 input channels, with a common power input terminal and a typical response time of 1 ms for both On and Off states.

This IC693MDL646 versatile input module is ideal for a wide range of binary or On/Off field devices like push buttons, switches, proximity sensors, and auxiliary contacts. It can accommodate an input voltage range from 0 to 30 VDC, with a nominal voltage of 24 VDC and an input current of 7 mA at the rated voltage. The input characteristics include an On state voltage of 11.5–30 VDC and an Off state voltage of 0–5 VDC. The module’s On state current is 3.2 mA minimum, and the Off state current is 1.1 mA maximum. Power consumption is 80 mA at 5 VDC and 125 mA at 24 VDC.

The IC693MDL646 versatile input module comes with 20 connection terminals, which are protected by a swing door. The swing door also includes wiring references for easy connection to devices and power sources. Additionally, the module is color-coded to indicate its low-voltage nature, and it is equipped with individual channel status LEDs as well as a Module OK LED to provide operational feedback.
