IC695ACC412 Functional Description
The IC695ACC412 cap pack Module is a replacement or upgrade component manufactured by GE Fanuc, designed specifically for the RX3i energy pack. Its primary function is to maintain power during outages, preserving user memory and ensuring that data is properly written to non-volatile memory. The IC695ACC412 cap pack Module works with the GE CPE330 CPU and holds enough power to allow the CPU to safely transfer its contents when there's a loss of power.
IC695ACC412 cap pack Module features a capacitor with a five-year lifespan and is installed at the bottom of the energy pack. For installation, ensure that the power is fully disconnected, and all LEDs on the energy pack are turned off. During the replacement of the IC695ACC412, power should remain off until the new cap pack is fully charged and operational. The installation process involves removing four screws at the bottom of the energy pack, carefully replacing the old cap pack with the new IC695ACC412 cap pack Module, and reconnecting it to the base. Be cautious not to overtighten the screws, as this could damage the housing.
Once installed, the "STAT" LED will turn green, indicating that the cap pack is charging. During this time, the power supply should remain uninterrupted. When not in use, the IC695ACC412 cap pack Moduleshould be stored in a dust-free environment, free from electromagnetic interference (EMC) noise. In fact, PACSystems RX3i can support as few as 8 I/O points and up to 32 thousand I/O points in a single system. With 7 to 16 slot backplanes and 1 slot expansion options, you can create the perfect system to fit your needs.
