IC695ALG600 Functional Description
The IC695ALG600 is a versatile analog input module designed for the PACSystems RX3i Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) platform. Manufactured by Emerson Automation, formerly GE Intelligent Platforms, this module supports a broad range of input signals, including voltage, current, resistance, and temperature sensors like Thermocouples and Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs). The IC695ALG600 versatile analog input module comes equipped with two groups of four channels, which can be configured to handle various signal types independently. It supports current signals ranging from 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, and +/-20 mA, voltage signals from 0–10 V, 1–5 V, and more, as well as resistance measurements and several RTD sensor types.
For precise signal termination, the IC695ALG600 versatile analog input module requires the use of compatible terminal blocks such as the Box-style (IC694TBB032) or Extended Box-style (IC694TBB132). IC695ALG600 versatile analog input module features status LED indicators, including Module Status, Field Status, and Terminal Block LEDs, which help monitor its performance and troubleshoot issues effectively. It is compatible with the Proficy Machine Edition (PME) software version 5.0 SP1A or later, and can be installed into the RX3i universal backplane, requiring firmware version 2.80 or higher.
The IC695ALG600 versatile analog input module also offers flash memory for future firmware updates and operates within a temperature range of 0–60°C, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial environments. With a maximum power dissipation of 5.4 watts, this module ensures efficient operation and reliability, making it an ideal choice for complex control systems requiring flexible and high-performance analog input processing.

Introduction
The PACSystems RX3i family provides advanced diagnostics and high performance I/O. With a modular design and multiple expansion options, PACSystems RX3i is the perfect I/O solution for your process, hybrid, and discrete applications.PACSystems RX3i is a rack-based system with a wide range of modules covering digital, analog, and numerous other specialty I/O types. These pluggable and hot-swappable modules allow you to customize the right mix of I/O, with a variety of voltage ranges and current capacities supported to meet all your application needs. Regardless of the I/O mix you choose, PACSystems RX3i is built on high speed interfaces to provide rapid and consistent data transfer With the ability to pair I/O, PACSystems RX3i allows you to scale your system with ease. In addition to I/O that you can put on the main rack, you can expand locally or remotely to connect to additional racks of I/O. In fact, PACSystems RX3i can support as few as 8 I/O points and up to 32 thousand I/O points in a single system. With 7 to 16 slot backplanes and 1 slot expansion options, you can create the perfect system to fit your needs.
Eliminate process interruptions with PACSystems RX3i I/O. Beyond just the high performance PACSystems RX3i offers in simplex configurations, high availability configurations are also possible for maximum reliability. Both Ethernet Global Data (EGD) and PROFINET System Redundancy (PNSR) are supported. With gigabit speed and bumpless switchover, choosing RX3i high availability will prevent unexpected failure and costly downtime.
